Get to know the Kussbus-Team

Where it all began

Upon returning to Luxembourg after living abroad, Jean-Luc and Nicolas, the co-founders of Kussbus, encountered an emerging issue, notably a mobility problem that causes commuters to lose valuable time stuck in traffic on their way to and from work. As a result, most commuters have a stressful start to their day before they even get to work. In addition, the use of private passenger cars is one of the largest single sources of air pollution.

An idea was born: To offer commuters who daily come to Luxembourg City to work a shuttle service that adapts to their personal needs and who takes them near their home to go to work without having to transfer.

And it worked! Kussbus is now a small team of people constantly thriving to improve the Kussbus' service and help make the world a better place.

Leave this world a little better than you found it

Heat waves, bio diversity decline, costal displacement, etc. are all staggering accounts of the dramatic changes now occurring around the world due to manmade climate change. At Kussbus, we truly believe that we all as individuals and as a society possess the power to build a better future for our planet. Private passenger cars are one of the largest single sources of air pollution and causes our urban infrastructure systems to collapse everyday – but on the other hand we thoroughly understand everyone’s need for personalised mobility. This is why we came up with Kussbus. Our mission is the unprecedented endeavour to provide large-scale rapid and modern mobility for everyone – while at the same time reducing emissions, traffic jams and the consequences thereof.

1 Kussbus removes up to 19 cars of the street

Imagine we could reduce toxic emissions in our cities and diminish the billions of hours we lose in traffic jams every day by only consolidating riders that are heading in the same direction. We can’t continue trying to build and pave our way out of this mess. With Kussbus, we increase the efficiency of our existing road infrastructure by multiplying vehicle occupancy rates.
